GREAT show. These couple of years ('97-00) may be my favorites. Not sure about it being the best Oak show ever though, that's a pretty big statement. Also, I never heard of Tall Bay. Is this a FTP? ;)
My first show. Period. It is hard to argue with Mikey's last Oak as the best. Saturday night in 2001 was bananas! So was Sunday night for that matter. Everyone has their own "experience", but it is hard to get better than '01 and '02 WSMFP at Oak Mountain.
I was there and it was a killer show! This was my first show at Smoke Mtn out of what would become many. Amazing venue.
And then… I was still there
