  1. How many people (other than ones that attended this X-mas Jam and stayed up all night with Panic) can say that they have seen Widespread Panic playing at 3 o'clock in the morning? If I am not mistaken, "Ain't Life Grand" ended right around 4:20 a.m.? What a great night! Easily my favorite Xmas Jam I have attended. (I believe this was my 3rd or 4th)

We were a bit late arriving but we started the night off a little bit behind the soundboard and as the crowd thinned out as the night wore on, we were dead center about 20-30 yards from the stage by the time "Surprise Valley" began. BTW, I was SOOOOO glad to see them bring back "None of Us Are Free," especially after a dirty little "Worry". I was as close as you can get to throwing my arm out of socket from fist pumping during NOUAF (Please, no "Jersey Shore" jokes about the fist pumping lol). Always loved that tune. That would have to be one of my many highlights from that night. JB "passing" the vocals to Warren during Jesus Just Left Chicago was another one of those highlights. (Got a nice video on my cell phone of that!) And it goes without saying, Jimmy and Warren trading licks is NEVER a bad thing!

Non-Panic Highlights included the bluegrass band they had playing between sets, running into my buddy Dixon on the floor at the perfect time, and seeing Gregg and Warren doing Neil Young's "The Needle and the Damage Done". WHAT A NIGHT!
