How to register a username on PanicStream:

In order to help limit the number of village idiots who find their way onto the board, self-registrations have been disabled.  All new usernames are now manually created upon request.

Requests are typically processed within 24 hours. The email account is checked every weekday morning.  You will receive an email when your username has been created and is ready to use.  Be sure to check your junk and/or bulk mail folder.

Usernames not used in 100 days are automatically purged from the system.

PanicStream Rules
  1. Keep your posts clean and respectful of others.  Debating and differences of opinion are expected but direct personal attacks and insults will not be tolerated. Debates are to be kept civil by all parties involved.
  2. This site is for fans of Widespread Panic.  If you are not a fan, simply leave.  You will not be banned for disliking a song, a setlist, or individual band members but if your comments become disruptive to the overall discussion on the board, you may receive a temporary ban.
  3. No racial slurs or racial jokes allowed.
  4. No discussions of bootleg DVD trading are allowed.
  5. No trading of copyrighted material allowed.  (Sendspace, mediashare, ect.)
  6. Keep drug references to a minimum and absolutely no open discussion of drugs will be tolerated. ZERO Tolerance in effect.
  7. Please refrain from typing in StIcKyCaPs, or IN ALL CAPS.  During a show, new songs are posted in all caps by the Moderator and multiple posts in caps can be confusing.
  8. Generally speaking, warnings are issued before a user is blocked, but severe behavior will be banned without warning.
  9. PanicStream.com is not responsible for the content posted within the Cbox.

PanicStream fosters a sense of community.  The vast majority of those on the board are friendly and respectful of others.  If you can not play nice, you will not be allowed to play at all.  If you are told to stop doing something - simply STOP

If you are banned, you may contact the webmaster for an explanation of why and how long the ban will be in effect.

The United States' Bill of Rights describes the limits that the government may place on on the people. The First Amendment indicates that government may place no limits on the right of the people to express themselves. There is no law, in the Bill of Rights or otherwise, that describes what individuals or corporations may choose to limit in the way of expression.

In simpler terms, I pay to lease space on private servers. I allow people to use a discussion board on this private server, and they may continue to use that discussion board at my pleasure. At any time, for any reason or for no reason at all, I can bar any of those people from using that server, as it is private property. This is much as you have the right to allow people to enter your home freely for a party, but you also have the right to bar anybody from that party for any reason. Another analogy is spam. Spammers do not have the right to spam freely, because you foot the bill for your Internet service. In short, spammers obligate you to pay for their free speech. People are free to say what they want, but you cannot be forced to foot the bill for that speech.

As should now be evident, you have no right to express yourself without limitation on the discussion boards or, for that matter, on any other discussion boards. If that is a problem for you, start your own website.
