Uploading to the PanicStream server via FTP

It is assumed you already have an FTP client installed on your computer and are familiar with it's use.  If you do not have a client installed, you may download SmartFTP

Directions:

  1. With your client, connect to the server using the following settings:
    Address: panicstream.com
Username: Click on the anonymous box
Password: None needed when logging on as anonymous
    Port: 21
  2. Once connected, you will see a folder titled upload_files_here. Click on it to view it's contents.
  3. Drag and drop the files you wish to upload into the upload_files_here folder.
IMPORTANT: Anonymous users can not create folders.  Therefore, you can not drag and drop a folder.  You can only drag and drop the audio files themselves into the upload_files_here folder.
  4. Any audio files (Flac, SHN, mp3, aac, ect) may be uploaded but the files will ultimately be converted to mp3s when the stream is created
  5. Renaming the files with the song titles would be helpful but is not required
  6. Please include a text file with the band name, show date, venue, and setlist info if known.  Also include your name so credit may be given to you.
  7. Once everything is uploaded, send an email to curtis or tres (@panicstream.com) so we can retreive the files and create the stream.
